A true Seven Springs Farm success story, Lily was trained by Wendy L. Warner and shown by Wendy and her students of Seven Springs Farm from 1996-2001. During that time Lily amassed a significant show record. Her victories and successes included numerous champion hunters, clean cross country and stadium courses, and high point Champion in Dressage. In 2001 she was sold for $25,000. She has since gained notoriety in the national show jumping arena capturing first place in the Large Pony Hunter class in her zone (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) and qualifying for the Pony Hunter finals in Lexington, KY. A stunning example of the Connemara breed, Lily stands 14.2 hh. In 2002 her present owners were offered $160,000 for her, but according to them, she is not for sale at any price. Lily was sired by the world famous Connemara stallion, Greystone McErrill known for producing world class get. In addition to Lily, Greystone McErrills other highly successful offspring include a son and full brother that won the Gold Medal in Pairs Driving at the World Championships in Austria in 1991. His grandson won the Morvan Park CCI and USCTA Preliminary Horse of the Year. Two of his grandsons won first and second place at Fair Hill CDE in 1999. His son, True Grit qualified as an alternate for the World Equestrian Games in 2002, and two sons and a grandson qualified for World Singles Driving Competitions. Lilys bloodlines have been carried on at Seven Springs Farm through her progeny Seven Springs Hidden Jenya who is currently for sale at the age of 6, and Seven Springs Hidden Wilde (Elfin) SOLD.
